1. Getting Started

Download Transparent Clock from the Mac App Store and launch it. The app opens as a floating clock window and begins showing the current time immediately.

By default, the app launches with a digital clock, transparent background, and saved preferences restored if you have used it before.

2. Opening Settings

You can open settings in any of these ways:

• •Hover over the clock window and click the gear icon in the top-right corner
• •Use the app menu and choose Settings
• •Press Command + Comma (⌘,)

3. Customizing the Clock

Transparent Clock supports several ways to customize the display:

• •Switch between digital and analogue clock styles
• •Adjust font size, font weight, and font style for digital mode
• •Choose 12-hour or 24-hour time format
• •Show or hide seconds
• •Change text color and optional background color
• •Adjust analogue clock size, numbers, tick marks, and hand colors
• •Enable chimes and quiet hours

The clock window automatically resizes to fit the selected display style and content.

4. Transparency and Window Behavior

Transparent Clock is designed to stay visible without getting in your way.

• •The default background is transparent
• •You can enable a custom background color and adjust its opacity
• •Hovering over the window reveals a darker overlay and the settings button for easier access
• •You can move the clock window anywhere on your screen

5. Pro Features and Purchases

Transparent Clock includes optional Pro features such as multiple windows, advanced chimes, premium themes, and additional clock styles.

To access Pro:

• •Open the Pro purchase screen from inside the app
• •Select the available Pro option shown in the purchase flow
• •Use Restore Purchases if you already bought Pro on the same Apple account

Core clock features work offline. Network access is only used for Pro offering retrieval, purchase validation, and restoring purchases through Apple and RevenueCat.

6. Accessibility

Transparent Clock includes accessibility-focused features such as:

• •VoiceOver-friendly labels
• •High Contrast Mode
• •Reduce Transparency support
• •Keyboard navigation

7. Troubleshooting

If something is not working as expected, try the following:

• •Quit and reopen the app
• •Reopen settings and confirm your current display style and preferences
• •Check your Mac's time, timezone, and audio output settings if chimes seem incorrect
• •Use Restore Purchases if Pro access is not showing on a device where you already bought it
• •Make sure you are signed into the same Apple account used for the original purchase
